F.E.A.R 3 is the sequel to F.E.A.R 2 and it holds a lot of hope in redeeming the position of its previous installment. It is no surprise to anyone that Id software would release a game that would knock everyones socks off. Rage is simply beautiful in terms of mechanics, player interaction as well as the raw feeling of being superior to everyone and everything around you. The games appearance is not in terms something “new” but it certainly is a sight to behold. As the apocalyptic world you are set in holds great magnitudes of art to the game. Rage is certainly a game you would want to buy without thinking of too much.

With limitless freedom for the player the vast enviornments and beautiful landscapes make this game an utter treat for the eyes. Crysis 2 comes with a complete upgraded package, bigger, more badder weapons. Using multiple powers at the same time to get through the hardest of endeavours, as well as much more tactical warfare. The Nanosuit we all have come to love is now the Nanosuit 2, which holds mankinds hopes and dreams as well as many new exciting features. Crysis 2 is a game you don’t want to miss out on.
6- Resistance 3:
Resistance 3 goes back to how it all started, picking up as how it did in its first installment. Resistance 3’s artwork is truly a sight to behold, utilizing every ray of light, or patch of fog to inject certain emotions into the player. One such example is the X-Ray gun which allows you to shoot through walls. The story line of this game ends in a very cliché manner, yet that doesn’t change the fact that the experience of playing this game is something every FPS must enjoy.

The war has finally set in, the situation has finally changed. Doom 4 is not about horror, its about downright, beautiful, serene, bloodshed. The visuals of this game are beyond anything Doom has offered before. Id has certainly made its benchmark game a great addition to the portofolio of 2011’s best FPS games. The fight is set on earth, and you are still the same man going around with a big gun in your hand, killing disgusting creatures that just do not stop coming. This game is a must play for everyone whos ever experienced the fruit of FPS gaming.
Bulletstorm is a great game overall, in terms of mindless killing as well as the satisfying splatter of blood after shooting an alien in the head. Epic Games has made something very different, Bulletstorm is exactly what it is called. You hail down a storm of bullets on anything that moves and you are nothing more then an effective kiling machine. The idea behind everything in this game is commendable, its crazy and downright absurd, but hey that’s omsething that isn’t neccesarily bad. This FPS game is probably the most different type of game that has been released for 2011. Bulletstorm is certainly a game you should pick up off the shelf in a flash.
Brink is a very unique game in comparison to other FPS games that we have recently experienced. Brink has a very captivating story, as the resources of Earth dwindle down. A floating city known as the Ark has been created to populate a maximum of 5,000 people. This city is self sustaining with no pollution and renewable resources. However with the destruction of the earth, the refugees found home in the Ark. Now with the population at a staggering 50,000 a civil war breaks out and all hell breaks loose. The visuals of this game a profound and speak volumes of the situation. This game is a must play for every FPS enthusiast.
2- Killzone 3:
Killzone 3 is an amazing game overall. The story sequencing, the visuals, the epic firefights, this game goes wrong in no sense what so ever. With amazing online functionality and hours of pwning headshots and frags. This game has not failed to deliver in any circumstance. What we expected from Killzone 3 is what we got. A game that surpasses most, and a game that has no equal.

Reigning supreme on our list of the top 10 best fps games of 2011, Call of Duty: Black Ops has lived up to its hype. The campaign mode of this game is an emotional and thrilling ride. With amazing visuals, distant horizons and great sound effects, Call of Duty: Black Ops looks and feels as spectacular as before. The gameplay is also just as impressive, the multi-player phase of this game is still the same. Something we hope never changes in the Call of Duty franchise. Buy this game, and play it for hours, and I assure you the satisfaction of playing this great game will be imminent.
